IprediaOS – a Fedora based Linux operating system for anonymous web browsing, email, chat and file sharing.

IprediaOS is a fast, powerful and stable operating system based on Linux that provides an anonymous environment. All network traffic is automatically and transparently encrypted and anonymized. Many applications are available in IprediaOS, including mail, peer-peer, bittorrent, IRC chat and others.

IprediaOS features:
– I2P Router
– Anonymous BitTorrent client
– Anonymous e-mail client
– Anonymous IRC client
– Browse Internet anonymously
– Find anonymous eepSites (i2p sites)

The operating system includes all of the basic applications an average computer user needs, on the top of GNOME or LXDE desktops, such as:
– a text editor, Abiword, a PDF viewer
– image viewer, Gnumeric, the Osmo calendar
– the Robert bit torrent client configured to anonymously share files through the i2p network, Sylpheed email client, a packet sniffer Wireshark
– eekboard virtual keyboard
– SE Linux Alert browser

The LXDE desktop contains shortcuts to XChat to anonymously connect to IRC channels through i2p.
Firefox uses proxy settings preconfigured to use the i2P network.

The latest version of IprediaOS 1 was released in 2013.

ATmission – a Live Linux CD. You can boot from this CD-rom and experiment with Linux in all it’s aspects. The main advantage of ATmission compared to other Live Linux CD’s is it’s flexibility: you can modify any file on the ATmission Live CD.

This implies that you can:

– install additional RPM’s,
– start a database on boot,
– configure a firewall,
– … anything you can do with a normal Linux system, and
– preserve your changes in a file located on hard disk or a USB memory stick

Linux AIO (All In One) – a Linux based project which provides remixes of a few Linux distributions (Ubuntu and flavors, Linux Mint, LMDE, Debian Live, Fedora, etc.) with different desktop environments on one ISO file that can be burnt on one DVD/DVD DL or USB 4GB+/8GB+ flash drive.

Every one of them can be used as Live system, with no need of installation on hard drive, or can be eventually installed on computer for full system experience.

VortexBox – a free, open source (GPL v3), quick-install ISO that turns your unused computer into an easy-to-use music server/jukebox.

Once VortexBox has been loaded on an unused PC, it will automatically rip CDs to FLAC and MP3 files, ID3 tag the files , and download the cover art. Vortexbox will then serve the files to network media players such as Logitech Squeezebox, Sonos, or Linn. The music files can also be streamed to a Windows or Mac OSX system.

MythDora – a specialized Linux distribution based on Fedora, and is designed to simplify the installation of MythTV on a home theater PC.

In addition to MythTV and its plugins, Mythdora includes extra Linux packages that are necessary for MythTV to run, and drivers for hardware commonly encountered in machines intended to run MythTV. Also included in Mythdora are several video game emulators, and extra tools and scripts.

The latest version of MythDora 12.23 was released on April 17, 2010 MythDora. It was based on Fedora 12 and featured MythTV 0.23.
On August 3, 2011 the project has been closed down.

Aurox – a Linux distribution based on Red Hat, offers with multimedia support and a few locales, such as: English, Polish, Czech, German, French, and Spanish.

The first version of Aurox Linux 8.0 “Starter” has been prepared by Robert Główczyński and Jarosław Górny, as a remastered version of Red Hat Linux 8.0 in 2002. The distribution had a full support for Polish language, two desktops environment: KDE and GNOME, as well as a few light ones: Xfce, Fluxbox and Window Maker.

Aurox 9.3 was released in March 2004 and was based on the packages of Fedora Core 1.

The big goal of Aurox was the large set of pre-installed applications, such as:
– Office: OpenOffice.org, KOffice, Planner
– Net: Mozilla Suite, Evolution, KMail, GNU Gadu, TleenX
– Multimedia: xine, MPlayer
– Education: KGeo, Dr Genius
– Graphics: GIMP
– Games: Pingus, Tux Racer, FreedroidRPG
and out of the box support for Polish broadband providers: Era BlueConnect and Neostrada TP.

The CDs was published with the “Aurox Linux” magazine (out of Poland) and Polish “Linux+ Extra” magazine, as well as via ftp download too. The last version of Aurox 12.0 was released in 2006, and then Aurox has been sold to a company ‘Coba Solutions’.

Fuduntu – a general-purpose operating system based on Fedora and created by Andrew Wyatt. It is designed to fit in somewhere between Fedora and Ubuntu, and optimized for netbooks.

Fuduntu was under development between 2010 and 2013. The first release was built as a fork of Fedora, but the next release became an independent distribution which contained packages not included in Fedora.

Fuduntu was shipped with GNOME 2 as a default desktop environment and featured applications such as: Nautilus Elementary, Adobe Flash, the Fluendo MP3 Codec, VLC, Infinality Freetype, LibreOffice, and the nano editor.
