Generations – a Linux distribution build from scratch easily customizable using GNU/Linux, Open Source and source contributions world wide.
The distribution that boots and runs completely from CD-ROM media. It includes the Linux kernel,v 2.4.22(XFS), the K Desktop Environment (KDE), Apache, PostgreSQL, security, pcmcia, and more.

The live system uses a lightweight Openbox window manager as default.

There are exactly two interactive logins, the guest account (passwd: welcome)
and the administrator root account (passwd: admin).
The guest account has sudo priviledges on all commands.

The project developer is SoftCraft Impresa LLC, USA.

TalkingArch – a modification of the Arch Linux installation media, enabling the installation of Arch Linux, also for the visually impaired.

TalkingArch started as Chris Brannon’s personal project to help him more easily install Arch Linux with speech. With much help and input from the community, and with the wonderful work of the Archiso team powering the back end, TalkingArch has grown to become one of the best available live images for rescue and recovery, as well as for installing Arch Linux.

Although it is not an official Arch Linux install image, the aim of the project is to stay as consistent as possible with the official install image and Arch principles, while adding speech and braille support to allow Arch Linux to be installed by blind and visually impaired users.

Sabayon Linux (previously RR4 Linux and RR64 Linux) – a Linux distribution developed by Fabio Erculiani, based on and fully compatible with Gentoo Linux. It uses the Entropy package management system that was specially developed for this distribution and Portage.

Entropy installs prepackaged packages which shortens the installation process compared to Portage. You can use Entropy with console or graphic user interface Equo or Ringo.

Sabayon supports x86 and amd64 architectures and is a rolling release distro, which means that you don’t have to install it from scratch after a new version is released. There are ready to go Live CDs/DVDs with GNOME, KDE, XFCE, MATE environments, a minimalist version with Fluxbox, which lets you customize the system according to your needs; and a version of SpinBase without a graphical environment.

To install the system on a hard drive, Sabayon uses the Anakonda installer known from Red Hat and Fedora.

Starting with version 16.06, Sabayon is also available for ARM machines (RaspberryPi).

The last version of Sabayon Linux are available for x86_64 machines only.

In November 2020, Sabayon has been rebranded to MocaccionoOS and merged the project with Funtoo Linux.

Centrych – a reliable, easy-to-use system that provides a unified look & feel, and support for both KDE/Qt and GNOME/GTK applications. Daylight Linux – a Debian based Linux distribution designed for PC (amd64) and Raspberry Pi.

SalentOS – a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu and uses Openbox as the default desktop. SalentOS is supposed to be a lightweight system for 32-bit machines. The live system includes GNOME and Xfce components and uses Cairo Composite Manager by default.

A separate release with the Razor-Qt desktop was also available.

Started from SalentOS 1.0, which was released in October 2016, was based on Debian of the stable branch and featured the Openbox desktop.

wattOS – a lightweight Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, targeted to users of “old” computers. The system uses a very lightweight pekwm window manager by default, while maintaining good functionality of the entire system. wattOS with pekwm (microwatt) desktop is available for 32 bit machines.

The developer also offers two versions of the distribution with LXDE and MATE desktops.
Both are available for 32 and 64 bit machines.

As of R8 released in May 2014, wattOS has been ported from Ubuntu to Debian of the stable branch. “Microwatt” desktop has been changed from Pekwm to Openbox.

wattOS R9 is back based on Ubuntu and the microwatt version comes with the i3 window manager.
