Lormalinux – a Lorma Colleges’ very own Linux Distribution that has been optimized and customized to meet the needs of educational institutions and its students. It is a full-featured Operating System specifically created for ease of installation, ease of use and functionality.

The first version is built on top of Red Hat Linux – recompiled and optimized for the i686 computers.
The next one is based on Fedora.

It features software from the Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP) for setting up diskless workstations. It is shipped with KDE desktop environment and is constantly being updated.
