White Box Enterprise Linux – a free Linux distribution alternative to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, primarily founded by the Beauregard Parish Library in Louisiana.

White Box aims to be 100% compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux binary packages. This distro is derived from freely available software made by Red Hat, Inc., but is not produced, maintained, or supported by Red Hat. Specifically, this product is a fork of the Red Hat Linux version 3 source code under the terms and conditions of the free software licenses under which it is distributed.
