gNewSense – a Linux distribution based on Debian of the stable branch. It was created to deliver a completely free operating system. All components, modules, drivers, applications, etc. proprietary and nonfree packages have been removed from the system, including the Debian logo.
gNewSense is officially endorsed and sponsored by the Free Software Foundation.
gNewSense is available for i386, x86_64 and Lemote Yeeloong machines.
The default desktop is GNOME.
The iso images are offered as Live DVD and minimal Netboot.
