Go! OS – an operating system, based on the idea of building an entire Operating System from software components based on CORBA and its ORB that can be replaced and recycled; it also introduces an x86-specific security model based on segmentation and code scanning (an example of a no-kernel system).

CORBA is an acronym for Common Object Request Broker Architecture. The industry standard architecture for having programs written in different languages cooperate. It addresses a common issue of a published standard for protocol and serialization.

The project founder is Greg Law.
