Funtoo – a Linux distribution created on the top of Gentoo in 2008 by the former leader of the Gentoo project Daniel Robbins. Robbins left the Gentoo Foundation in 2004 after his proposal to solve the Foundation’s problems was rejected. The Funtoo project was born as an initiative to implement his vision and innovations.

Funtoo is a rolling release distribution.

The system is provided in three versions of the environment: KDE, GNOME and Xfce.
It offers support for the x86 and x86_64 architectures.
