Cinnarch – a Linux distribution based on Arch Linux shipped with Cinnamon as the default desktop environment.
Cinnarch is a rolling release and uses the Arch Linux official repositories, AUR and its own software repositories as well.
The package management tool is Pacman, but PacmanXG4 – a GUI front-end is available too.
Cinnarch offers a Live graphical installer called “Cnchi” as well as a text based too.
Cinnarch was under development between May 2012 (the first release) and April 2013.
Cinnamon is a Gnome 3 Shell fork, but due to problems with GTK+ 3.6 libraries, the developers switched to Gnome 3 desktop in the last Cinnarch release. After that the project has been closed and moved to the new one called Antergos.
