Càtix – a live Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux that runs completely from the DVD, USB, network or hard disk.
It offers support for the the Catalan language.

Catix can be used to learn Linux, as a portable operating system, as a rescue disk or your default computer’s operating system.
It is based on Debian and features two desktop environment of your choice on the iso image: KDE and GNOME.

It was created by Antoni Mirabete i Terés, TecnoCampusMataró and Regidoria Ciutat del Coneixement the City of Barcelona.
