BSDLive – a live CD which provides a filesystem based on FreeBSD that can fit on a business card CD-ROM developed by iXsystems. It is a FreeBSD operating system that will run directly from the CD so not using your hard drive.

iXsystems, a company nestled in the infamous Golden Triangle of Silicon Valley, provides FreeBSD-based Internet infrastructure grade rackmount servers, security appliances, and managed FreeBSD hosting to a global market. The iXsystems management team consists of former executives and employees from BSDi and iXsystems.

iXsystems develops customized open source FreeBSD distributions, including the desktop operating system TrueOS (formerly PC-BSD) and the file servers and network attached storage systems FreeNAS and TrueNAS.
