Webconverger – a Debian-based web kiosk that runs in live mode. It is intended for deployments in places such as offices or internet cafes where only web applications are used.

Webconverger maintains a proprietary fault-tolerant configuration service with email support to assist in mass deployment of Webconverger. The service is optional.

Webconverger works with Firefox, the dwm window manager, and a Firefox add-on called Webconverger that locks the browser from kiosk mode. The browser is locked and most menus, toolbars, key commands, and context menus are disabled. Webconverger includes Adobe Flash support and PDF viewer by default. Both wired and wireless networks are supported by DHCP.

The project has been developed since 2007.
