Underground Desktop Linux – an Arch Linux based a Linux distribution which is optimized for i686 architecture and desktop users. Underground offers a live system with possibility of installing it on a hard drive using its own, very simple installer.

The first versions of Underground Linux of the 01 line ware based on Debian GNU/Linux “unstable” which featured the APT, Synaptic, KDE 3.4.0, GCC 3.3.5, and Linux kernel 2.6.11.3 preinstalled.

  1. I was very revered Underground Linux; so much so, I wrote a manual/user guide on how to install it and set it up on your system. On my website, I offered a printed version of it, along with a DVD with Underground on it.
