Red Flag Linux – a Chinese Linux distribution developed by Red Flag Software between 1999 and 2013. The distribution was founded by Software Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and NewMargin Venture Capital.

Red Flag Linux was based on the Asianux/Fedora/Red Hat Enterprise Linux and built around the KDE desktop environment, which has been designed to look like the graphical desktop of the Microsoft Windows XP. It comes with built-in support for both English and Simplified/Traditional Chinese languages.

Red Flag Linux was available in 3 different versions:
– Red Flag Asianux Server
– Red Flag HA Cluster
– Red Flag Desktop
