Goodgoat – a simple to use Linux distribution that can be run from a USB drive, hard drive, or CD-ROM. Rather than overwhelming users with a multitude of applications, it aims to have the best utility for each job. In addition to including the latest software, it makes it easy to share a computer’s hard drive over a network.

The goal of goodgoat is to make an easy to use Linux that has few duplicated applications so that you don’t have to dig through the menus to find the program that you want. If you like gentoo all you have to do is install goodgoat and run su emerge sync from the xterm and you have a gentoo system.

The livecd features Xfce4 4.0.6 desktop with some applications pre-installed, such as: a web browser (firefox), filemanager (xfce4fm), gimp, bluefish, a skype client, evolution, xine, xmms inkscape and gaim.
