Xanadu GNU/Linux – a Debian based Linux distribution which includes utilities for rescue, forensics, and anonymous browsing, as well as everything you need for everyday use.
Xanadu is 100% compatible with the Debian from the unstable “Sid” branch, making it a continuous distribution. It uses LXDE as a desktop environment designed to be lightweight yet handy.
The name Xanadu (pronounced: sanadú) has been considered synonymous with wealth and mystery, especially thanks to the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge; it was also the summer capital of the Mongol empire Kublai Jan and was also the name chosen by Theodor Holm Nelson for the hypertext project.
Xanadu features many packages, most of them are distributed under a free software license. The main license is the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL), which along with the GNU Lesser General Public License (GNU LGPL) states that users can make, copy, distribute, research, change, develop and improve software.
The live system works in Spanish language as default.
