REX OS (Real-Time Executive Operating System) – an ARM-based real-time operating system that Qualcomm used to run mobile phone baseband chip software.

In the past, it was only used for cdmaOne and CDMA2000 chipsets, but as the number of supported air interfaces has increased, it is also used for W-CDMA and GSM chipsets.

The license is a closed source license, so you cannot view the source unless you obtain a development license from Qualcomm.

Originally the OS was available for Intel 80186, but it was ported to ARM, and later x86 was no longer supported.
