LinuxConsole – a standalone Linux distribution built from source packages. It was designed to transform an old computer into the center of a gaming console.

The most important aspects of the system include:
– ease of installation

LinuxConsole is built with the ‘dibab’ script. Using the script does not require system administrator privileges. Dibab is designed for x86, x86_64 and arm architecture.

LinuxConsole uses its own LCM package manager to software managing.
It is possible to install ‘deb’ packages intended for Debian.

The system has a pre-installed set of games and is aimed at enthusiasts of this type of entertainment.
The default desktop is lightweight LXDE.

The LinuxConsole iso image is available for 32/64 bit machines.
