KXStudio – an Ubuntu based Linux distribution aimed at artists, producers, musicians and regular users. The system is built on Ubuntu and the default desktop is KDE.
It includes a large set of programs for production and editing of audio, video, graphics and 3D animations.
KXStudio can be installed in several ways:
– the minimum installation CD (about 20MB) is provided by the installer – packages are downloaded from the network server
– Live DVD contains a ready system with the possibility of installation on a hard disk
– standard Ubuntu version – after adding KXStudio repositories it is possible to install KXStudio KDE or Xfce desktop and application set.
The Live version is available for 32 and 64 bit machines.
