GameDrift – a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu and optimized to deliver the best possible gaming experience on Linux.

GameDrift features GNOME 2 desktop and only a few pre-installed applications.
It has the built-in CrossOver Games technology from American Codeweavers to let users install and run 1200 games designed for MS Windows.
There is also installed its own, on-line GameStore which lets users install native open source and commercial games for Linux.

The last version of GameDrift 1.21 is built on the top of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat.
