Clear Linux – a minimal, independently developed Linux distribution designed primarily for performance and cloud computing.

The operating system is updated as a single entity, rather than using individual packages. Additional software can be added to the system, along with associated dependencies, using pre-compiled packages, which can be accessed through the Swupd software manager.

The system is available as IMG images for x86_64 machines equipped with UEFI.

After burning the IMG image to a USB drive, the system can be installed on the computer’s hard drive.

Alternatively, you can convert the IMG image and test it in a virtual machine.

On July 18, 2025, the project’s developers announced its closure.
