Black Lab Linux (previously OS4 OpenLinux, and PC/OS) – a Linux distribution focused on ease of use and includes many tools that allow users to create and publish their own content.
It provides multimedia codecs out of the box, an easy to use and simplified interface. Great compatibility with older hardware help you extend your hardware and software investments.
Black Lab Linux was available for 64 bit machines with the GNOME, Xfce, MATE or KDE desktop environments of your choice.
New iso images were available to subscribers (paid). Other users can download a new iso image 30 days after the official release.
Starting with version 6.5, Black Lab Linux was released with a single environment version, with the KDE desktop only.
The project developer is Robert Dohnert.
