Yamefa – a GNU-Linux distribution derived from Ubuntu.

Changes between Ubuntu and Yamefa are:
– own graphic style
– added software: Brazier, Beagle, Inkscape, Dia, Liferea, Gnash, EasyTAG, SteamTuner, FileZilla, Geany, Glipper, GShutDown, Miro,…
– Evolution replaced by Thunderbird, etc…
– Compiz lets effects of transparency, shadows, distortion of the windows, and place each office environment working on one side of a cube

Yamefa is only available in installable LiveCD so it can be tested from a CD without any modification to the hard disk.

The latest version is Yamefa 801, which was based on Ubuntu 7.10.
