X-evian – an Ubuntu based operating system compilation that comes with 300Mb of copyleft material for the socialization of knowledge and technologies.
X-evian is a live CD, a complete operating system which installs automatically from the CD-Rom in RAM memory by means of a process of automatic hardware detection. It comes with Spanish language as the default, but other ones can be choosen on the system start up.
X-evian is shipped wit Xfce desktop and pre-installed applications such as: Xarchiver, Xfburn, Bluefish, Blender, Gimp, GQview, Inkscape, aMule, Firefox, Gaim, Wireshark, Xchat, OpenOffice.org, ettercap, Synaptic Package Manager, Thunar, GNOME Partition Editor, Beryl desktop effects. It also supports copyleft philosophy, motivations and practices.
