Ubuntu Rescue Remix – an open-source Linux distribution based on Ubuntu.

Ubuntu Rescue Remix is designed for system rescue and data recovery.
It contains pre-installed applications, such as:
– ddrescue data recovery
– testdisk
– Photorec image and video recovery
– Sleuth Kit digital forensic analysis tool
– fdisk partition editor
– ClamAV anti-virus
– ddrutility to diagnose files damaged by inaccessible blocks on a disk image

The live system works in live mode, with text based environment.
It can be runs from CD media or USB flash disk.
