ToOpPy – a free multilingual Linux distribution, a Puppy Linux-based operating system working completely in RAM, that can be shortly described as lightweight, reliable, stable, very fast and portable.
ToOpPy Linux offers the JWM window manager, the ROX file manager and “2PDE”, a complete set of applications to easily customize your Desktop Environment.
Puppy designed by Barry Kauler (and ToOpPy is one of its adaptations), belongs to this very large and prolific family, and, despite resources out of all proportion to those available to their big sisters, manages to produce quality work.
ToOpPy Linux can run on relatively old machines whose hardware configuration is wrongly and for purely commercial purposes considered “obsolete” (insufficient processor / components / memory …) or the operating system (Windows XP, etc.) almost more usable.
