Tiny AROS – a distribution of the AROS operating system, offered as a Live CD for i386 classes (32bit) machines.

AROS is a API-level re-implementation of the Commodore Amiga Workbench 3.x and the X86 version exists for many years now. Till this day software is still being developed for AROS. Unfortunately the AHCI subsystem currently does not support all available hardware so it is not possible to install AROS on hardware that does not support selecting to boot from IDE legacy mode from the BIOS. However, personally, I (the project developer) discovered hardware, which even includes workstations, that is capable of running AROS. For example a HP Z600 and Z400 but also a Intel Core 2 DUO system is excellent enough for running AROS.

The project is under active development, and there is a new website as well.
