Semicode OS – a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu customized for programmers and web developers. Most of IDEs text editors, compilers come installed by default.

It is shipped with GNOME desktop environment as default, and based on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Thar packages.

The live system features such applications:
– Eclipse, MonoDevelop, BlueFish, Atom, Ninja IDE, Brackets, Emacs, Sublime Text, Scratch IDE
– LAMP stack
– Ruby compiler, .NET with Mono Runtime, OpenJDK for Java

The project developer is Pratik Raj.
