Predator OS – a security-oriented freeware project based on open source Ubuntu, designed for penetration testing and ethical hacking. The system also offers: increased privacy, hardened Linux kernel, security, anonymity.

Predator Linux is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Mini, 5.10 LTS kernel, and uses a fully customized Xfce4 lightweight desktop with a dedicated tools. Predator Linux has approximately 1,300 pre-installed utilities that are divided into 40 different categories. Predator tools are imported from the Debian and Ubuntu repositories and from the GitHub website. Most kernel and user configurations are tweaked by default to prevent intrusion, unprivileged access, and a reduced attack surface. Multiple built-in firewalls and defense tools allow end users to control the Predator-OS system. Predator allows you to run it as a Live-CD or from a USB drive and after installation to a disk.

Predator OS 3.5 is based on Debian stable 12 “Bookworm”.
