Liri OS – an Arch Linux based Linux distribution.

Liri OS developers building some exciting features including atomic upgrades, powerful notifications support, and much more. They’re leveraging the latest and greatest Linux technologies, including OSTree, Wayland, Qt 5, and much more.

Liri is a meritocratic, consensus-based community interested in developing an OS and apps with modern design in mind.

The Liri desktop is very closely related to the principles of Material Design, and to achieve this, e.g. libOSTree, Wayland, Qt5 were used.

By utilizing elements and principles of Material Design, it was able to create a framework that incorporates components and animations that provide more feedback to users. Additionally, a single underlying responsive system across all platforms allow for a more unified user experience.
