KISS Linux – an independent developed minimal Linux distribution that provides a minimal command line environment using BusyBox and a package manager called kiss. The project aims to reduce the size and requirements of packages in order to provide a small and more understandable operating system.
It uses a text packet system which is language agnostic and comparable to UNIX tools.
It uses a package manager written in 600 ~ lines of POSIX sh.
The system is based on musl, libc, busybox and the Linux kernel.
The distro comes with full sources (distributions) with git history.
The project founder is Dylan Araps.
