Ichthux – a French Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. The distribution was suitable for computers in churches, Bible schools and Christian homes. The name Ichthux comes from the Greek word ichthys, which means fish and is a Christ symbol from the Old Church.

The distribution consists entirely free software, and is free of charge. The Ichthux Community helps each other, with no distinction of novices or veterans; the information must be shared so that anyone can be helped, regardless of the level of difficulty, from forums and community sites.

The supported architecture was x86 and the default desktop environment was KDE.
The first version was launched on September 11, 2006 and was based on KNOPPIX, the latest version is 9.10, which was launched in October 2009, and based on Kubuntu.
