gNOX – a live Linux distribution which lets you run from a CD without need of installing it on a hard drive. gNOX is based on Slackware Linux distribution, and uses GNOME as its default desktop manager, and also features XFCE as an alternative.

gNOX is a modular system which lets you easy add more applications to the ISO image OR run ‘on the fly’ from a stored location (hard drive/CD/USB drive).

gNOX can be customized (modified) by your changes: new applications and desktop look will be used on your live system.
