Delix – a Linux distribution based off of Ubuntu that makes a great alternative to Windows. It’s just like Ubuntu except it gives you a more out of the box desktop experience. It is also intended to show off the power of Linux with eye candy and powerful programs to make any Windows user convert to Linux.

Delix has all your required multimedia codecs installed out of the box! You can listen to mp3s, watch mpeg movies, edit audio, and even watch DVDs as soon as Delix is installed. Plus with Java preinstalled, your web experience is richer with added multimedia capablities.

Delix is:
– Less suseptible to viruses
– Easier to use
– Crashes less often
– Fully customizable
– Ready to use out of the box
– And of course, it’s free

The project developer is Nate Delgado.
