CraftyOS – a free operating system based on the Cpcdos OSx kernel, written only with CpcdosC+ language (CpcdosC+ will integrate the English syntax in 2016).

Cpcdos OSx (2011 to 2015) is a 32 bits cooperative multi task monolithic modular kernel. It use FreeDos for boot and install some base drivers only (Keyboard, display, mouse, drive). CraftyOS natively includes the CpcdosC+ and limited Java language to create own operating system very simply.
It can use network, FAT16 and FAT32 file systems, 32 bits CPUs and 1080p display resolution, and some more functionality.

CraftyOS is under development by young people and still is in early Alpha stage.

  1. The CraftyOS 1.1 Alpha in the VirtualBox version is set to use a French AZERTY keyboard, so users with QWERTY keyboards need to hold down Shift to type the default password of 123456.

    • Hi, you can run in DOS mode (S) option in boot, and type
      KEYB EN
      KRNL32.BAT

Or edit CPCDOS\PILOTES\DOS\EXEC.BAT file and change KEYBFR by KEYB EN
