SavageOS – a live system with an installation and configuration script designed to streamline the process of configuring Arch Linux. The script is not a standalone operating system, but rather a tool for configuring Arch Linux and essential software.

Features:
– Installs and configures the Awesome Window Manager.
– Configures repositories with numerous libraries.
– Installs the AUR helper.
– Supports automatic and manual disk partitioning for MBR and UEFI systems.
– Configures the GRUB boot loader.
– Installs a collection of dot files for installed programs, improving the aesthetics and functionality of the environment.
– Runs directly from a TTY without a display manager, but automates the startx command to start the graphical environment.
– Offers the option to replace sudo with opendoas, creating symlinks and aliases as needed.

The project was founded by Daniel McLarty.
