FortMacTux – a small, fast, and full featured KDE/Slackware-based Linux distribution built on Slax.
It offers a live system based on Linux kernel with no installation necessary, can revitalize old system hardware, and rescue disk to retrieve data from other operating systems. It also features wireless Internet access, video, audio, games, and full productivity suite (OpenOffice.org, CAD software, financial/banking software, etc.).
FortMacPlus is built around the KDE 3.5 desktop environment, and comes pre-loaded with KDE-specific applications such as: Kopete multi-protocol instant messenger, Konqueror web browser, KMail email client, JuK music player, Akregator news reader, K3b CD/DVD burning software, KOffice office suite.
