Danix – a Debian based, desktop oriented Linux distribution designed with support for the Czech language.

DANIX contains many applications for internet usage, office work, data recovery, education or just fun.

DANIX is built around modules so you can store all changes (settings, data, installation of more software). By using storage module the system become acting almost as normal installation, all changes will be permanent.

Just add your custom module to a DVD or other device and it just works. You can have your personal distro containing your own set of applications, design and data. If your module on your device will support readwrite access (usb flashdisk, harddisk), you can store your work into it, so you have a system similar to installed one.

The project was under development between 2003 and 2007.
