BHLD – a complete operating system that runs from a CD. Simple, fast and painless way to use Linux, without the usurpation of your computer. BHLD goal is to create a complete desktop Linux distribution fully localised into Bosnian.
BHLD was based on KNOPPIX and later on Ubuntu, and shipped with the KDE 3.x desktop environment.
Minimum recommended configuration to launch the KDE graphical environment is:
– Intel Pentium II 400 MHz
– 192 MB RAM
– CDROM
In addition to change certain parameters, BHLD can be run on older computers with min. 64 MB RAM.
The project founder is Vedran Ljubović.
BHDL 1.x was based on Knoppix.
The latest version of BHLD 2.05 was released in 2010, and was based on Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron.
