4bak (previously DDbackup) – a Slax-based, modular liveUSB with a collection of forensics, backup and recovery applications. It contains AIR (Automated Image and Restore), Partimage, Xarchiver and others tools.

The last version 0.02 of 4bak is based on Slax 6.0.7 with the kernel 2.6.24.5. The desktop is a mix of Fluxbox and Rox. 4bak liveUSB is configured in dual boot with DBAN (Darik’s Boot and Nuke). With DBAN you can securely wipes the hard disks of most computers.
