USU Linux – a free general purpose / educational operating system for your PC.
USU Linux is offered in three variants to choose:
– Mini – contains the KDE desktop and a set of general-purpose applications.
– Desktop – was created for educational purposes, and includes an additional set of applications, such as: Celestia space simulator, MuseScore, Blender 3D, Kalgebra calculator, Fritzing, Gobby, Kompozer, TuxPaint, Step, Kalzium, LibreCAD, etc.
– Netbook – Gnome desktop variant for devices with small displays.
The Live version comes with English and Bulgarian localization.
The distribution has been developed since January 2008 by two developers: Svetoslav Stefanov and Krasimir Stefanov.
The project’s initial name was “Learn Free with Ubuntu”.
