JuntaDados – a Debian based Linux distribution created for multimedia producers in social media.
A complete and free operating system based on the ideas and ideals of the GNU project and the FSF, aiming to simplify and facilitate the audiovisual production activities of Cultural Centers, Digital Inclusion initiatives, and Digital Culture.
This distribution includes the main office tools and tools for producing audio, video, image, and text content, selected through a survey conducted at Cultural Centers and Digital Inclusion initiatives.
JuntaDados is based on Debian GNU/Linux 7.x Wheezy and features Ardour 3.2, Blender 2.68, LibreOffice 4.0.4.2, Firefox 22, FFmpeg 1.0.7, Audacity 2.0.1, LiVES 1.6.2, VLC 2.0.6, OpenShot 1.4.2, Inkscape 0.48.3.1 and much more.
The Linux kernel was installed as of version 3.10.x with the BFS (ck1) process scheduler and BFQ I/O scheduler.
The default graphical environment is Cinnamon, based on GNOME 3.
