Animux – a free operating system designed from the ground up to meet the needs of an animator and their animation studios. It has over 50 applications that an animator can use to bring his imagination to life. It also has tools to help with create live action audio/video digital assets.

Animux comes default with RT kerne which is a must have for the sound engineering tasks on your animation project. The other benefit is that the operating system is very responsive. We ran benchmark tests on Animux and you would be pleased to know that the latencies in the OS in the micro seconds.

Animux currently runs on 32 bit and 64bit intel/AMD hardware. It also runs on the Apple G4/G5 hardware.
