Swift Linux – a lightweight, Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) based distribution featuring the IceWM window manager.

Swift Linux was targeted to old computers, but featured a set of additional applications such as: LibreOffice, BleachBit, Iceweasel, MPlayer, Mtpaint, PCManFM, Rox terminal, Synaptic, Ceni network manager, etc.

The main version of Swift Linux was called “Regular”. There were a few other editions built upon the same base, such as: Diet Swift Linux, Taylor Swift Linux, Minnesota Swift Linux, and Chicago Swift Linux.

Founder of Swift Linux is Jason Hsu.
Swift Linux 0.2 was released April 23, 2012.

After 5 years, in January 2017, a new version 16 was released.
